public art commissioned by Ripley's Aquarium of Canada
We live in oceans of air, surrounded by invisible waves of wind. Current is an array of wind indicators which respond to very local wind conditions. Their unique design allows them to follow the wind in all three dimensions. Together they recall the complex flow of water currents and the way undersea lifeforms move in response.
